Last Year's Blue Dragon Beer and Cider festival was a total first for the Supporters Trust and it surprised everyone how successful it was.

The football club do not serve cask conditioned ale normally so there was very little experience of how to keep, prepare and serve ale.
Luckily, amongst the trust members were a couple of ex-publicans who offered some advice and a helping hand on the day, along with a number of willing volunteers to set up the ale stand, tables, line the floors and of course order and accept delivery of the beer and cider just before the festival started.

Again, volunteers helped with the serving of the ale on the day including Simon Gregory who travelled all the way up from Bromley in Kent just to help out. Thanks Simon!

Several bands were playing on the day and a 5 course Indian buffet was provided to keep everyone nourished during the evening. Thankfully the weather stayed fine all weekend so everyone was thirsty and tables and chairs were set up outside so that festival goers could sit in the sun to enjoy their beer and cider.
