Just under 40 Trust members attended this years WCFC Supporters Trust Annual General Meeting held at the Harry Knowles Lounge at St. Georges Lane. We were also pleased to have Tom Hall from Supporters Direct there as a special guest for the evening- Tom has been really supportive in helping to get the Trust up and running.
Colin Layland opened the preceedings by welcoming all to an historic event in the short life of the relaunched Trust. We've come a long way since the initial meeting at the cricket ground in April and to get to our first AGM and official Board in that time has been a great effort by all involved.

Nick Bent spoke on behalf of the original Trust group who had started the Worcester City Supporters Trust and , along with Jem Pitt, signed off the accounts for the year. We would not have got to this stage without the work put in by Nick, Jem and Andy Bullock so a big thank you to all three of them!
Dave Wood took the meeting through the progress achieved so far with establishing the Trust and outlined some of the activities that have already taken place to raise the Trusts profile and bank balance! Notably the Marrs Bar gig, Big Match and golf day. Niels Eiriksson then went through the finer points of the Trusts accounts which showed a healthy balance to date.
Then came the main event of the AGM. It was put to the floor that Dave Wood, Colin Layland, Rich Widdowson and Gavin Fry be ratified as the new Board members of the Trust. This was carried unanimously; well done to all four of them, we're sure they'll do a grand job. Two of the three co-opted board members were then introduced. H&W Sports Partnership Support Officer Sue Bentley and Rob Crean (Secretary). The third member has yet to be decided.
To round off the AGM we were pleased to present Tom Hall with a Trust membership and City mug to thank him for all his hard work!
A question and answer session was then held with the new Board members and Tom Hall taking questions from the assembled audience- more on this to come!
